Begin with a useful question
A class investigates how a fictional probability model relates to observed outcomes. Students work from provided rules and synthetic data, then identify assumptions and uncertainties.
Offer accessible participation
Students can inspect a table, use an accessible spreadsheet, discuss findings with a partner or receive an alternate format. No activity involves betting, money or real gambling products.
Look for analytical learning
Evidence of learning includes accurate interpretation, clear reasoning and recognition of model limits. Provide feedback in a format the student can access.
